How To Become Rich Selling Information Products

One of my favorite (scratch that, make it my favorite) business models for creating income on the Internet is the information products model. You get amazingly high profit margins (there\’s no inventory to hold, and you ran run this business without employees), you can work from anywhere in the world that has an Internet connection, and you can set up your business so that it runs on total autopilot.

So you want to get rich selling information products? The great news is that it does not require much capital to get started - anyone can get started in this business for less than a hundred dollars. But the \”bad\” news is, there is SOME work involved! You might not like it, but you\’re going to have to work for your success. There\’s no two ways about it.

Here are the tools you need for an information products business:

1. A word processor

2. A pdf converter to create your information product (you can convert documents into pdf format for free at Adobe\’s website)

3. A website for selling your information product (includes a domain name and hosting)

4. A payment processor

And that\’s pretty much the main tools you\’ll need. Two of the best places for getting domain names at value-for-money prices are Namecheap.com and Name.com. For hosting, I recommend Vexxhost or HostGator.

A payment processor can be totally free. Paypal is an amazing user-friendly solution that is easy to setup and collect payments with. Plus, Paypal is a trusted solution worldwide.

Once everything is set up, all that\’s left is to market your website! The best online marketing strategies are: pay per click advertising, forum marketing, article posting (to article directories) and ezine advertising (an awesome resource is Directory Of Ezines).

Ebook writing is one of the most lucrative fields in the internet today. It can promise you with great financial success as long as you can provide well-written and quality electronic books that your potential clients will appreciate.

1. Solve a problem. One of the major reasons why online users are shelling out their precious dimes on electronic books is because they are looking for sound solutions to their pressing issues. Identify the problems that are directly affecting your target market and formulate solutions that can help them remedy these pressing issues in no time. For instance, if you are writing for people who are battling unwanted pounds, you can write books about healthy diet, the best diet pills available in the market today, or exercises that can greatly help them lose weight.

2. Fight writer\’s block. One of the best ways to grow your ebook writing is to stay productive so you can easily augment the number of your creation. That is why, you need to know how to combat writer\’s block as this can be deadly on your writing career. This can easily be done by writing all the bright ideas once they crossed your mind (so you will not forget about them) and stay motivated. Think of all the things that you would like to accomplish by writing your ebooks, it could be for financial gain or advancement in your career. The Resell Rights Idea for Ebook Authors

Quite simply, you sell your Ebook, conveyed with Basic or Master Resell Rights. In a nutshell, Resell Rights gives the reseller the right to resell a product.

There are usually two types of Resell Rights, which are: Basic and Master.

Basic Resell Rights. You have the right to resell the product but your customer does not have the right to resell it to another.

Master Resell Rights. You have the right to resell the product as well as the Basic Resell Rights itself to your customers. Your customers can in turn resell the same book to their customers.

Thus, your Ebook product will appeal to two markets, namely the customers (the consumers) and crazy marketers that have a starving customer list like addicts on cocaine waiting for the next fix.

Customers are only interested in using the information in your product. Resellers, on the other hand, act very similar to any franchisee, whereby they would like to capitalize the advantage of the Resell Rights income opportunity you have to offer with your Ebook with minimal work on their part.

Resellers can only resell Ebooks with Resell Rights. In other words, as long as you convey some form of Resell Rights to your Ebook, resellers are allowed to resell your Ebook and keep 100% of the profits.

You do not need to mind about this as you can count on back-end income as your resellers customers can be YOUR customers through your own links and affiliate IDs built into your Ebook In other words you can have their customers become your customers on your mailing list.

And if your resellers would like to have the affiliate IDs in your Ebook to be rebranded into theirs, you can charge them an additional fee for rebranding service.

Why Ebooks and Not Other Types of Digital Products?

For one, Ebooks are still the best-selling digital format on the Internet. Secondly, it is far more practical to insert affiliate links into an Ebook, which is hard or nearly impossible to do with audio/video format.

While you can rebrand affiliate links within a certain software or program, resellers in general favor reselling Ebooks over software.

I read the salesletter that I received from the resell rights package, removed important points and benefits out of the copy and created my own order pulling salescopy.

This differentiated my website and copy from the rest.

Create A Hot Selling Ebook In One Day

So you want to write a hot selling ebook, but by the time youve written your name your creativity has dried up. Dont worry; Im going to show you how to create an ebook for a hot topic without having to take classes in creative writing or copywriting. Can you write a few simple paragraphs? Basic descriptive stuff, not literature or poetry. Good, thats all you need.

So whats the easiest way to produce a book if you cant write it yourself? Use other peoples material. Isnt that stealing or plagiarism? You ask. Well it would be if you didnt get permission. Now why would any one give me permission to use their material?

Believe it or not every day people sit and write articles and give you permission to copy them. Too good to be true! Are they crazy? Usually they are business owners with web sites, and they write articles to get publicity for their businesses. They actually want people to copy their article and help spread it far and wide. Normally their article or a small paragraph at the end will contain a link back to their web site. So the more people who see their article the more visitors their web sites get and the more business they do.

So go to goarticles.com in the search bar type in Ferrets or whatever your chosen topic is. Make sure you search on article content, not Author. Now you should get thousands of results. Heres what you do next. Go through the search results, and choose at least seventy articles on your chosen topic. Choose quality articles and copy and paste them into a word processing programme such as Word.

Please make sure you use quality articles. Remember Garbage in garbage out If your new ebook is full of rubbish you will get a sky high refund rate, and waste a lot of time. You want this to be a profitable exercise.

Be a little creative with this part; dont have too broad a range of articles. Try and group them together in a sub niche. For instance if your chosen niche is Home decorating, you could choose your articles from a sub niche such as Decorating on a budget or Decorative paint techniques.

Remember I said these articles are available for reprint, but to make sure you dont break any copyright laws, email the authors and ask for their permission to use the article. Explain that you are creating an ebook aimed at their niche market, and that you would like to include their article, also that you will include information about them and a link back to their site.

Expect around seventy percent of authors to reply. You can discard the articles of those who refuse permission or who dont reply.

Now you can create your ebook. Sort your articles into a sensible order. You could create chapters around specific areas. For example if your niche was decorative paint techniques, you might have a chapter on paint finishes for walls, a chapter on finishes for floors or one on finishes for furniture.

To complete your ebook write a few short paragraphs for your introduction and conclusion. Just short factual descriptions explaining to the reader what they could learn from the book, and sign of with your own name. Now youre an expert in your chosen niche. If you have back end products you can create a link to them at the end of your book.

The final step is to turn your compilation of articles into an ebook, so that you can sell it. Go to www.primopdf.com and download the software. It wont cost you anything. Once youve downloaded it open your word processing package where you saved your ebook , Click on File and then click on Print and then select Primo PDF as your printer. Bingo! You just created your ebook.

So thats how you create a product with other people doing the work for you. It should only take a matter of hours. Now you can create all the ebooks than you will ever need.

Isnt that fantastic! Other people do the hard work, you dont spend any money, but you get to keep all the profits.

1. Have a clear understanding on what is the current demand of the consuming public. The demand brought about by the potential client is what drives the existence to your need. It is therefore mandatory to address and satisfy that demand. In addition to that, it is the consuming public who will purchase your product, in which case, their needs is of importance.

2. Check yourself whether the demands of the consuming public is something that you can address. When you know that you are cannot adhere with the demand, give yourself the chance to understand that need and try to some extent comply with it. Otherwise, if things are not working effectively on your end, you can always make a compromise.

3. Develop a good sense of proofreading skills. E-book writing is a very critical job. An error that is committed is tantamount to having a very non-credible and non-dependable skill set as a writer. Do not jeopardize your whole credibility as a writer by just a mere mistake.

4. Market the e-book and market it very well. An e-book just like any product that is being sold online needs to gain proper exposure at a certain degree for it to be marketable. When this product does not meet the needed amount of exposure and popularity, the price that it has to pay is equivalent to non-marketability.

An e-book can be saved and referred to as many times as necessary so that customers can access the valuable information as much as they need.

Though they\’re often disguised as simple and convenient informational references, e-books are great marketing tools because they constantly provide consumers with information about a company\’s products or services. E-books are available at all times of the day, every day of the week, which makes it easy for a business to keep in touch and offer information or support to customers when it is convenient for them. Unlike printed information, such as regular books, pamphlets and reports, e-books are incredibly inexpensive and take up a lot less space, as they\’re stored on a computer.

Besides a company\’s website, there are several places on the Internet where an e-book can be stored and saved for customer download. Company\’s can post blogs and send emails, both of which can contain links for e-books and provide extra information about the business as well.
