If not you are not alone. Right now there are millions of people struggling to make money online and let me tell you from my own experience the hardest part is making that first few dollars in profit. I have tried it all online and have struggled just to make my first dollar also.
The hardest thing about making money online has always been getting traffic to my sites. I believe that this is the single biggest problem that all marketers face. How do you get enough visitors to your sites and how do you keep them coming.
I believe if you can solve your traffic problems then you can solve all your internet problems. You certainly cannot expect to get any sales if you do not have any customers coming to your site or sites. So concentrating on getting traffic to your sites is the most important aspect of internet marketing.
If you have traffic coming in to your sites and you do not have en email capture form you are leaving a lot of money on the table. This is because most customers do not make a purchase on their first visit to your site. You need to keep in touch with them at least 5 7 times before they actually make a purchase.
Im sure you have heard the saying that the money is in the list. Nothing could be more true so never forget that. It may be one of the most important things you can learn in internet marketing. I believe that most newbies do not start off with an email capture form because they feel it is too difficult to set up an autoresponder. But I would recommend finding out how to use one fast because you are going to need it.
Of course another important aspect of marketing is finding or creating products to sell. Let us take a look at both of these real quickly. You can create your own product but let me tell you that is a lot of work. If you can do the writing yourself to create an ebook then you have to hire a writer to create your ebook for you. You can find writers to create your own products by doing a search online.
The best bet for that average person to get started in their own business is to find products already created for you and resell them. These can be Master Resell Rights products or Private Label Products. You can purchase them, put your own name on them so you appear to be the one who created the products. Not having to create a product yourself will save you countless hours of hard work.
So in conclusion if you are not making the kind of money you desire online or you are not making anything at all then do not give up on your self. Just follow proven business models and you cannot go wrong. Also one of the biggest problems facing internet marketers is procrastination. You must take a little action each day whether it be working on your sites or reading about the latest marketing trend. Making money online does not happen overnight. It takes more persistence then the average person is willing to put in.
