How To Write A Best Selling E-Book
If you have an online business, you probably know that the most profitable product you can sell is one that you create yourself. If that is the case, why are there so many people complaining that they\'ve written an ebook, but no one is buying it?
The answer to that is simple; it involves a poor choice of subject matter! Many Internet coaches will tell you that you should write about subjects that you enjoy. Writing about a subject you enjoy may ensure that you will finish the project, but it does not mean that people will buy it.
If your ebook is a \'how to ebook\' on taming wild horses, you are not going to sell a lot of ebooks. There is not a lot of interest in taming horses. And when there is little interest, there are few buyers. If your ebook describes all of the wonderful uses of whale oil, it is possible that one or two Eskimos will be interested, but few others will buy the ebook.
You\'ve got to write about subjects that people are interested in. The best selling ebooks solve a problem. If you want to sell a lot of ebooks, find a solution to a common problem and put it into an ebook. If your mother used a secret family recipe to create a concoction that cured a rash; that could be a best seller. If you have discovered a technique to triple your website traffic that requires little or no work, that is a best selling ebook.
Focus on problems and how to solve them. Visit forums and find out what people are complaining about. If you have a solution, or if you can do enough research to find a solution; that is a subject for your next ebook. And I can almost guarantee you that it will sell much more than your last ebook.
