If Content Is King - How Can I Rule The Kingdom?

Private Label Rights (PLR) of course! PLR gives you the keys to the kingdom and it’s up to you how you use it. Basically, PLR are rights given to the buyer of written material that enable the buyer to potentially change the author’s name, the content and definitely sell the material and retain the profits.

It’s really a win-win situation for both the original author and the buyer. The original author usually has good writing skills, can do it quickly, great at research and enjoys helping others. The buyer has the opportunity to use good material, at a cost lower than hiring a ghost-writer and can make the content unique to themselves.

The number of ways to use PLR content is really only limited by your imagination. In whatever ways that you might use content that you have written you can also use PLR. You can combine the writings of several authors to produce a well-rounded work or you can augment the PLR content with your own writing and give it your own distinctive style.

For instance, you can use PLR for to pull together tightly written ebooks and special reports, ecourses for your list or even building sites for contextual advertising.

Ruling the kingdom demands good content. Be sure that the articles and creative works that you purchase are well written and completed by people whose first language is English (if that’s your primary target market).

Many times you’ll find articles that read poorly and like they were put through a blender. The articles just might have been! Articles and ebooks can be written and then rewritten using software that employs a thesaurus to make word substitutions and thereby deliver a ‘unique’ product. Unfortunately, although it is really unique it is also unreadable and unusable.

Products should be written so that the buyer can make adjustments easily. Keywords used in the article should be evident and the density between 1% and 5%. Articles can be between 350 – 600 words. If they are longer the article becomes untenable as people don’t often read articles of that length. At 700 words the buyer can split the article into two articles of 400 words by adding another fact to each one. Two articles for the price of one!

Although PLR content appears to have numerous uses the old caveat of ‘buyer beware’ continues to stand. Beware of the content you purchase that it is usable, rich in content and definitely readable!
