\r Avoid get rich quick syndrome: What can I say, they are tempting but avoid the temptation.
\r Invest in yourself: Be willing to learn the needed skills and invest the time into learning.
What is required to be Successful with Internet Marketing?
The foundation of the Successful Internet Business is the Opt-in List. From the earliest days of planning your Internet Business, building the opt-in list should be in your business plan and the system you create.
Do you need a website? The answer is a definite yes. You need at least a single page website called a Landing page or Squeeze page. This is a page that is totally dedicated to getting people to sign up and to be placed on your Opt-in List.
People will tell you that all you need to do is join an Affiliate program and send people to their site to make money with Internet marketing. There are a lot of programs out there that will tell you how to be successful in this way.
If you are wanting to build a long term successful Internet Business, you have to build your opt-in list and you will only do that if you have a page for people to sign up for your list.
To get people to sign up for your opt-in list, you need to give them a reason. FREE is a great incentive. Use the opt-in and FREE items that fill a need.

These are just a few of the items people are willing to sign up for but the items must fill a need for the visitor.
Along with the Squeeze page you will want to have an Auto Responder. My personal preference is Aweber. When people sign up, your auto responder instantly replies and can also send out a series of emails to your list. You must keep in touch with your list on a regular basis keeping your name and your product in front of your list members. Always focus first on giving visitors something they need and is useful for them.

Remember, you are building a foundation for a Business.
