If you are thinking of starting your own business you need to put together a business plan and be honest with yourself. In doing so you need to cost out the capitalization needed from investors, personal savings or the bank. Once you do this you need to double the amount and time it takes to reach your ROI point and then you need to extend your salary that you pay yourself out one additional year. You see most all entrepreneurs underestimate the costs it takes to get started and in doing so they often run out of money and then fail.
Most small businesses in fact fail from being under capitalized and running out of money. Play it safe, build yourself a quality business plan in advance and do a self-assessment of your personal character.
