Thinking - The Base Of Human Advancement
If you ask anyone What are you thinking? the most frequent answer all over the world is Nothing. Where as this is the only process which keeps on going till you are in your senses. So we all think and we cannot disagree from it. It is this thinking which calibrates us from each other. Once Bill Gates said that I think 20yrs in advance. Here I would like to simply take the example of Dhiru Bhai Ambani(the pioneer of mobile revolution in India in the form of Reliance ). He was the first to foresee the mobile revolution. It is the thinking which earns money and fame. We all are actually earning on our thinking only. The main question which strikes us is How and what to think? On one hand we compare thinking as a spontaneous process like the heart beat which does not have our control where as mind does think.
I would say that thinking is a mechanism which is as spontaneous as the heartbeat but having a full control from your mind. We all can imagine and it is one of the easiest jobs. The hardest job is to think over your imagination and turning it into reality. So, thinking is a tool for converting your imagination to reality.
Does thinking have its limitation? Yes it has. The more we think we change its boundaries and keep on setting new goals. This is the basic difference between imagination and thinking. So coming back to the question of How to think? The first correct step is imagination and the second step is to find the boundaries of your imagination and then put the scale of thinking on it. Once you do it you will come up with many irrelevant things. Here starts the actual thought process, which will turn it into reality. The main things needed for turning imagination into reality now is knowledge. It is not necessary that you will acquire the whole knowledge, but the skillful people will work for you. Here we commit the common mistake to run for acquiring the complete knowledge. A great thinker is always way ahead of the extremely skillful people. You can take the example of Akbar the great and the 9 Gems working under him.
Think and start working and you will see people follow not only you but also your thinking. Now the final question WHAT TO THINK? Here I would say that think from your heart. We again commit a great mistake of copying others thinking and end up in total confusion. You can never copy others thinking. This is something pure and eternal. Have some big goals and start thinking on it. Have the flexibility to rethink as nothing is constant in the whole universe. So now think how to earn money, how to earn fame, how to be an achiever and finally what is your imagination. Best of Luck!!
